THE ROLE: National Account Associate
The focus of the National Account Associate is to provide analytical & executional support on the Well-Being Collective brands at Target. The position is responsible for proactively analyzing information on current business trends, identifying opportunities or risks, and executing the day-to-day tasks of a Target business. The position also entails communicating key information to WBC leadership and this role reports to the Sales Director – Target.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and manage weekly reporting tools and dashboards for key customers and internal teams
- Utilize customer insights, IRI, and syndicated data to provide actionable insights that help in the development of strategies that grow our business and share
- Monitor competitive brands and products, to understand shopper trends and potential threats to WBC business
- Assist in pulling, interpreting and providing insights around key sales data. Manage tracking of new item launches at retail to ensure speed to shelf and item success in the market.
- Assist deduction management with third-party partners through administration of Target’s online deduction (VMI) process
- Full item management responsibility on Target POL/IMN and Target.com
- Maintain monthly updates to our checkbook and ensure promotions are entered into Targets system
- Calculating Target inventory needs based on WOS issues as well as managing retailer inventory via item-level forecast adjustments & clearance inventory management
- Conduct post promotional and efficiency analysis.
- Assist sales lead with display/salesplan bids via display performance recapping, & POG shelf creation
- Build strong relationships with key partners, both internally and externally, to maximize WBC sales at Target
- Collaborate across analyst team within Target to learn and share best practices

CAPABILITIES + SKILLS REQUIRED
- 1-3 years experience working in Sales Analytics with CPG experience preferred
- Ability to convert information, numbers and data into insight for actionable growth
- Proven ability to solve problems and drive results
- Results-oriented and able to manage and prioritize multiple projects effectively
- Adaptable with the ability to work both cross-functionally and independently with the potential for more responsibility as more platforms are launched
- Solid written and verbal communication skills with the ability to give and receive effective feedback
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, multitasking ability and motivated by a deadline driven environment
- Strong PowerPoint & Excel skills required
- Experience working with syndicated databases (Nielsen, IRI, Numerator, etc) and/or Target’s Partners Online and VIQ System a plus
- Energized and passionate about building a transformational brand in today's marketplace
- A true “Team Player” who can work cross-functionally to achieve results
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING THE INTERVIEW PROCESS

The salary range for this position is $59,680.00 - $89,520.00 dependent on experience and location.
