Manchester University seeks an experienced and visionary Director of Graduate Admissions to lead recruitment, admissions, matriculation, and marketing efforts for graduate programs in pharmacy, life sciences, nursing, and rehabilitation sciences. The director will play a pivotal role in developing pipelines, advancing enrollment strategies, and ensuring the University meets its graduate admissions goals.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide strategic leadership for recruitment and admissions processes, ensuring alignment with the University’s mission and enrollment goals.
  • Develop and implement student recruitment and marketing strategies that drive growth and excellence across graduate health sciences programs.
  • Oversee the admissions process, including outreach, application review, matriculation, financial aid, and scholarship coordination.
  • Collaborate with campus leaders, faculty, advisors, and student organizations to strengthen student pipelines, including Early Assurance and Pre-Professional initiatives.
  • Lead a professional team, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
  • Partner with community colleges, health systems, and regional organizations to expand pathways into graduate health sciences programs.
  • Represent the University on committees and at regional and national conferences.
  • Prepare and present annual reports on admissions outcomes and strategies.


What You'll Need:

  • Master’s degree in administration, business, liberal arts, or social sciences (required).
  • 7–10 years of progressively responsible admissions or enrollment management experience, preferably in higher education.
  • Strong understanding of admissions, registrar, financial aid, and student services functions.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience leading teams, developing policy, and implementing strategic initiatives.
  • Proficiency in admissions/recruitment software systems and data analysis.
  • Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and student-centered service.
