CTG is seeking to fill a Designer - Design Research opening for our client in Armonk, NY.

 

Location: Armonk, NY
Duration: 3 months

 

Duties:
Design researchers are experts in uncovering insights, informing design decisions, and creating new opportunities to enhance business outcomes. They employ rigorous study methods, including empirical observation, experience, and making, to build team understanding and empathy. Their core skills include:

  1. Identifying and articulating high-priority research questions and opportunities.

  2. Selecting and communicating appropriate research methodologies.

  3. Recruiting and managing participants effectively.

  4. Conducting research activities to gather qualitative and quantitative data.

  5. Analyzing data to generate actionable insights.

  6. Presenting findings in a clear and compelling manner to stakeholders.

  7. Brief scope of work: Tier 1, Tier 2 support for T-Mobile Cloud platform

  8. Will this candidate be working on, have intentional or incidental access to, or located in a physical work area where any of the following technologies are present?

Note: Electronic access includes access to servers, cloud computing environments, team rooms, databases, electronic libraries, and any other on-line collaborative environment (e.g. "wikis").

  • Defense, Military, Government, Intelligence, Surveillance, National Security, and Space (including commercial satellites) source code, software, technology, and related information

  • Cryptographic source code and technology (* answer "yes" only if candidate is from one of the following countries: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions of Ukraine)

  • Biometric software and technology for fingerprint and voiceprint recognition and analysis

  • Integrated circuit technology and source code for Microprocessors (VHDL, netlists, etc.), Servers (Power & Z systems), High Performance Computing (PathForward, DCS, etc.), Superconductive Electronic Devices (Josephson Junctions, etc.); High Energy Device technology

  • Magnetometry, Particle Physics, Nanotechnology, and Molecular Electronics technology

  • Telecommunications technology (Digital RF, Software defined networks)

  • Radiation and Temperature Hardened technology

  • Geospatial Imagery, Object Detection Surveillance

  • Optical Interconnects (Sensors, Lasers), Neural/Neuromorphic Computing (e.g. TrueNorth), Quantum Computing technology

  • Nuclear Power technology

3.3. Will the candidate be involved in performing any penetration testing or ethical hacking?
