Kent County is accepting applications for seasonal employees to work at the Parks Department. Successful candidates will provide superior customer service to visitors and assist with the care, cleaning, and general maintenance of the parks, trails, and facilities. Applicants must be 18 years of age to work at most of our parks. 

Duties will include, but are not limited to: operating lawn care equipment, cleaning buildings, restrooms, and other public areas, removing trash, caring for grounds and facilities, assisting park visitors, and monitoring park reservations. Some positions may include collecting payments for admissions, merchandise, concessions, and other fees. Successful candidates must also be willing to perform other duties, as assigned.

Please note: 
M-F work will be paid at $15.75 per hour
Saturday-Sunday work will be paid at $16.75 per hour  

**Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
