Where You Come In:
We are currently seeking an Associate Assembly Technician to join our growing Production team! As an Associate Assembly Technician at KCF Technologies, you'll have the opportunity to work on highly collaborative team in one of the most exciting fields in technology- right in the heart of Bellefonte, PA! The ideal candidate must be able to work out of our Bellefonte, PA Production Center, and be a result-oriented team player who is driven by precision, accuracy, and follow-through. As an assembler, you will be responsible for performing a wide variety of electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.

Schedule & Hours:
This part-time position requires 28 hours per week. The schedule offers flexibility with a few set requirements:
- Tuesdays and Thursdays: Fixed shifts from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (or optionally 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM).
- Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays: Flexible hours between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, to be defined by the candidate in coordination with the team.
Essential Functions:
- Assisting with assembly of KCF hardware
- Operating power tools
- Operating the CNC laser engraver
- Assisting with packaging of goods and shipping
- Ability to inspect work for quality control and document findings electronically
- Completing special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Experience with warehousing, inventory, assembly, and/or inspection of goods.
- Mechanical aptitude, hands-on experience, and enjoyment of learning how things work.
Work Environment & Conditions:
- Ability to stand or sit while maintaining alertness for several hours at a time.
- Must be able to lift or carry up to 50 pounds in weight.
- Position may require bending, leaning, kneeling, and walking.
- Ability to speak concisely and effectively communicate with external and internal customers.
- Visual and auditory ability to respond to critical situations and physical ability to act swiftly in an emergency.
