Position Description
Under the general supervision of the Data Manager, follows established polices and procedures while performing a variety of data entry and data analysis duties and ensuring data is reported as necessary to the TCHATT and CPAN programs. Performs specialized work in the planning, conducting and/or supervising of original research at TTUHSC. Responsible for participating in, planning, scheduling and/or supervising research projects and the interpretation of the results for publication. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on the accomplishment of assigned objectives and the overall effectiveness of the project. May supervise research and student assistants.

Major/Essential Functions
- Enters data in the TCHATT, ECHO, and CPAN database systems.
- Assists with creating new surveys, spreadsheets, and files related to data management.
- Cleans data and removes inaccurate measures from tables, datasets, and databases.
- uses analytical and logical methods to describe and evaluate datasets (advanced Excel skills)
- Troubleshoots data-related problems.
- Guarantees adherence to regulations.
- Implements the latest security procedures and protocols for data management.
- Regularly monitors and evaluates information and data systems that could affect analytical results.
- Compiles monthly data reports for all programs.
- Oversees and stays up-to-date with iECHO.
- Follows protocols for the retrieval and analysis of ongoing data storage.
- Assists with troubleshooting data-related problems.
- Regularly monitors and evaluates information and data systems that could affect analytical results.
- Prepares requested data accurately and thoroughly for statistical analyses and reports.
- Stays up-to-date with qualitative software (e.g., Qualtircs).
- Assists with developing data management strategies.
- Develops and updates monthly data reports.
- Maintains and updates professional knowledge and proficiency through continuing education, staff meetings, workshops and serving on special committees.

It will require background checks, including, but not limited to, criminal history and other security-related screenings. Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of these checks.

Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Science (i.e., Psychology and Human Development).
- Experience with sound research methods and analysis.
- Experience in child and adolescent mental health or closely related field.
- Experience with peer reviewed publications and professional presentations.
- Experience and knowledge with statistical package for the social sciences, Excel, and Qualtrics.

Required Qualifications
Master's degree or specialized academic training beyond the Bachelor's level in a particular field of science or engineering equivalent to a Master's degree. One year research experience. Knowledge of modern research practices, the methods, resources, and standards thereof.
