Steam Club Advisors at Roselle Board of Education

Strong knowledge of STEAM disciplines, particularly in chemistry, mathematics, engineering design principles, and logical problem-solving.

Experience with inquiry-based learning, hands-on projects, and the application of scientific and mathematical concepts to real-world challenges.

Passion for STEAM education and the ability to translate complex concepts into student-friendly activities.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects or events.

Enthusiastic, creative, and able to inspire students to think critically and solve problems.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Plan and lead weekly club meetings and additional sessions as needed for competition preparation.

Develop engaging STEAM-focused curriculum and activities that inspire curiosity and foster creativity.

Coach and prepare students for participation in local, regional, and state competitions, including "You Be The Chemist" and "Steam Tank Challenge."

Accompany students to competitions, some of which may take place on weekends.

Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and exploration.

Communicate regularly with students, parents, and school staff about club activities, goals, and expectations.
