Are you a seasoned logistics bilingual (Korean/English) leader with a proven track record of P&L responsibility and a passion for driving growth? CJ Logistics is searching for a dynamic Group General Manager to take the reins of our Customer Network. This is a rare opportunity to significantly impact our operational efficiency, expand our customer base, and shape the future of a rapidly growing global company!
- Salary Range: $160,000 - $190,000
- Schedule: Ability to work flexible schedule to maintain a cadence of visibility on all shift/locations that this position supports.
What You'll Do:
- Own the P&L: Take full ownership of financial performance, driving profitability and optimizing operating margins through strategic collaboration.
- Strategic Visionary: Develop and execute a comprehensive operational and customer support strategy, focusing on a nationwide, customer, and carrier-centric approach.
- Lead with Impact: Direct daily dispatching activities, provide professional leadership, mentor key talent, and instill best practices across the division.
- Drive Growth: Spearhead business development, including supporting bidding processes, pricing model development, service expansion, and cultivating customer and brokerage relationships.
- Optimize & Enhance: Analyze and improve network utilization, service/cost performance, and procurement processes.
- Champion Compliance & Safety: Drive a culture of safety and compliance, leveraging your regulatory knowledge to develop proactive action plans.
- Customer-Centric Focus: Ensure exceptional customer service, managing daily operational issues and building strong, regular communication cadences.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Own key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure robust performance management systems are in place for clear reporting.
- Be a Road Warrior: Travel up to 75% of the time to support our diverse network and growth initiatives.
What You'll Bring:
- A Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field (MBA highly preferred).
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in the Logistics/Brokerage or 3PL segment of the logistics industry.
- Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English (required).
- Proven expertise with LTL and truckload transportation/logistics contracts and agreements.
- Demonstrated success with P&L responsibility and strong financial acumen.
- Exceptional customer partnership abilities and strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A deep understanding of industry regulatory, compliance, and safety protocols.
- Experience with team development, organizational structuring, and the ability to define future team design needs.
- A continuous improvement mindset with a strong desire to build best-in-class operations.
- Project management experience, including process innovation, service improvement, and driving change management.
