The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) will provide medical care to students of all ages with medical needs. The LVN will perform specialized health care procedures, administer medications, provide first aid and complete other tasks delegated by the District Nurse and Credentialed School Nurse.
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• High school graduation or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited Licensed Vocational Nursing Program.
• Related health care experience is required.
• Previous experience working with children in a school setting is highly desirable.
LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
• Possession of a valid State of California License of Vocational Nursing.
• Possession of a current CPR Certification with AED for adult and child.
• Possession of a current First Aid Certificate.
• Possession of a valid California Driver’s License and access to reliable insured transportation.
