Summary
The Beautician works alongside our medical center staff and provides various types of cosmetology services to CareMax patients.

Abilities/Skills

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides haircut services.

• Provides manicure services.

• Maintains patient sign-in log.

• Ensures cosmetology equipment is cleaned daily.

• Maintains a cheerful, positive, and respectful attitude.

• Other duties as needed and/or assigned.

Physical Demands

• Walking and standing: More than 75%

• Sitting: Less than 25%

• Hand and finger dexterity (typing, computer): More than 75%

• Close vision/focus: More than 50%

• Talking and hearing: 100%

• Lifting less than 10 pounds: Frequently

• Lifting 10–30 pounds: Frequently

Work Environment

• Moderate to high noise level.

• Fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Qualifications/Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the cosmetology field preferred.

Certifications/Licenses

• Valid cosmetology license in the state of Florida required.
