Job Purpose |

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities |
1. Fulfill the roles of Business Analyst and Solution Architect effectively.
2. Lead the finalization of Solution Architecture and Design for Enterprise Projects by engaging with business stakeholders, managing demand, collaborating with the Online team, and coordinating with multiple vendors.
3. Review and approve solution architecture and design, project plans, efforts, and schedules. Ensure meticulous resource planning to ensure timely project delivery.
4. Establish robust governance mechanisms to ensure the timely and flawless delivery of solution architecture and design across multiple projects. Monitor project milestones, mitigate risks, resolve issues and conflicts, and provide regular status updates on concurrent projects.
5. Manage project dependencies effectively by liaising with various functions including Infrastructure, Application Owners, Release Management, Quality Assurance, Security Management, and Governance. Foster collaboration to ensure project success.
6. Facilitate Operations Engagement to ensure the timely delivery of business functionality within budgetary constraints.
7. Uphold compliance with governance IT architecture guidelines to maintain alignment with organizational standards and best practices.
8. Engage with partners to monitor demand progress consistently. Promptly escalate any concerns to the appropriate governance forum for resolution. |
Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience |
1. Possess extensive experience spanning 12+ years in Solution Architecture & Design, with a focus on large and intricate VBS (Value-Added Business Services) projects tailored for customers, employees, and partners within the Telecom sector. Expertise encompasses the development of diverse systems including websites, applications, ordering platforms, billing systems, Digital and field management systems.
2. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the IT Application Ecosystem within a telecom service provider, particularly emphasizing SIM and non-SIM based business operations.
3. Excel as an effective communicator, both orally and in writing, coupled with strong organizational skills, adept multitasking abilities, and proficient leadership capabilities.
4. Spearhead initiatives aimed at expanding and enriching the digital footprint, with a strategic emphasis on fostering self-service initiatives to support enterprise-specific plans and journeys.
5. Possess a thorough understanding of caching technologies, telecom OSS/BSS (Operations Support Systems/Business Support Systems) applications, integration best practices, agile methodologies, and emerging technologies such as pooling & sharing, among others.
6. Proven ability to lead 10-15 member teams and handle full delivery lifecycle from requirement scoping to production & occasionally post-production support. |
Must have technical / professional qualifications |
1. Hold a Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech)
2. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding and practical experience in Telco OSS and BSS processes and architecture, including lead-to-cash journey.
3. Possess knowledge and familiarity with Telecom Networks, billing systems, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Point of Sale (POS), mediation processes, Machine-to-Machine (M2M) technology, Digital, and Internet of Things (IoT) concepts.
4. Have proficiency in products such as FLD (Fiber Leased Line) and FLV (Fiber Leased Voice), MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching), ILL (International Leased Line), and IoT products.
5. An MBA or post-graduate qualification would be considered an added advantage.
6. Possess skills in Software Development Methodologies (SDLC) to effectively manage software projects from inception to deployment. Worked on Agile and Waterfall methodology.
7. Offer hands-on expertise in the Telecom domain, with a deep understanding of industry-specific processes and technologies.
