Raging Waters Sydney - Food & Beverage Team LeaderAbout the role:
Food & Beverage Team Leaders are responsible for coordinating a team to deliver exceptional customer service and to perform duties to the highest possible standard within our various Food & Beverage outlets.Food & Beverage Team Leaders are accountable for the efficient and effective coordination of all day-to-day operational aspects of the Food & Beverage Team.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Being an ambassador for Raging Waters Sydney and enforcing all Policies and Standard Operating Procedures from Parques Reunidos.
To effectively lead a team of Food & Beverage Team Members.
Working with the Food & Beverage Manager to achieve line schedule requirements. Assist with rostering and managing staffing levels on the day of operation and general administration as required.
Where required directly assist in frontline operational requirements such as food preparation, kitchen operator, runner, and counter service.
Always ensuring exceptional guest service, with a focus on friendly service, minimising wait time and queue time.
Ensure designated food and beverage outlet is always supervised and that all policies and procedures are being followed.
Monitor and motivate team members to achieve a high standard of guest service.
Monitor food preparation and cooking duties ensuring menu items are prepared to recipe and quality standards.
Ensure food labelling standards are monitored and always maintained.
Apply and monitor food safety procedures and be responsible for a high standard of cleanliness in the outlet.
Organise and manage a team to achieve goals and to promote a positive working environment.
Confirm staffing levels assigned to the outlet are correct.
Order for the next day of trade to be submitted to the Warehouse at the end of the shift.
Conduct training and assess the competency of team members to assist in team development.
Teach and train team members on various equipment and task.
Ensure PCI forms are completed by each Cashier daily and returned to Supervisor at the end of the shift.
Complete all relevant paperwork to maintain correct stock levels and record-keeping processes.
Assist in other areas associated as required.
Required to be Food & Beverage Team Member as required or directed.
Lead the team to achieve cleanliness within the food & beverage areas including sweeping, rubbish pick-up, clearing and cleaning tables, emptying rubbish bins, maintaining picnic areas, maintaining birthday & cabana areas, offices, work areas and restrooms.
To carry out all duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Food & Beverage Coordinator, Food & Beverage Manager, or member of the Management Team.
Workplace Health & Safety (WHS):
Follow and comply with Work Health Safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Correctly use all safety and personal protective equipment.
Act as a role model by demonstrating safe work behaviours.
Report WHS incidents, injuries and safety activities to your direct Manager and First Aid at the time it occurs.
Promote proactive hazard/ near miss reporting. Report any hazards or near-miss incidents to your direct Manager and the People & Culture Director.
Attend Work Group Meetings to discuss and promote safety.

Ability to work flexible working hours including but not limited to weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
Must be available to work a minimum of twice per week during the peak season.

To carry out all duties and responsibilities as assigned by your Direct Manager, General Manager or any member of the Management Team.

Smoking in the workplace is allowed in designated smoking areas only.
You are required to have a high level of physical fitness and stamina and be physically fit. Physical requirements include but are not limited to walking, carrying, lifting, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling squatting, sitting, standing, twisting and repetitious movements.
Team member benefits:
This is a casual position from October to April, with the need to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and public holidays during the season.
Must be available to work a minimum of twice per week during the peak season 15 December 2025 to 1 February 2026.
The hourly rates are in accordance with the Amusement, Events and Recreation Award.
Food & Beverage Team Leaders aged 20 years or older are paid at a Grade 5 hourly rate of $29per hour (plus casual loading).
Different rates apply for applicants 19 years of age and under
Penalty rates apply for Sundays and Public Holidays.
The successful applicant will have the ability to discuss the option as temporary part time. Different rates would apply.
