UI Project Manager at Infosys

Infosys is seeking a UI Project Manager -This position’s primary responsibility will be to translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within the existing application frameworks.  The chosen candidate will apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, gather accurate requirements and work closely with stakeholders to prioritize tasks and the scope of development. The role will require strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and make adjustments in a testing environment while contributing towards developing and adhering to best practices for developing applications that are scalable, relevant, and critical to the project.

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.
• Should be technically strong on react and React js and able to guide team for and new design and migration of applications, next js exposure is added advantage.
• Proficient in UI design tools like Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar software, enabling team to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces, should also have expertise in visual design, understanding design principles, color theory, typography, and layout

• Coach teams in mentor cross-functional teams in Agile methodologies and frameworks.
• Responsible for planning, developing, and executing schedules to ensure timely completion for project deadlines and milestones.
• Regularly communicates to senior management regarding the status of specific project deliverables.
• Develop, run and distribute status and progress reports to update leadership and project teams.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and monitor progress using metrics and reporting tools – backlog grooming/refinement, sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint reviews and sprint retrospectives.
• Collaborate with product owner, team members, and other stakeholders to drive progress and resolve issues.
• Remove impediments that could cause roadblocks, bottlenecks or dependencies on any project.
• Monitor iteration/sprint progress from start to finish using metrics; Burn down charts, Burn up charts, Velocity charts, JIRA boards and Jellyfish.
• Work effectively with multiple scrum teams both co-locate and geo-distributed.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
