We are currently looking for an Activities Assistant for The Barclay at Boynton Beach
We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and creative Activities Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will help plan, organize, and lead engaging activities and programs that enhance the quality of life for our residents/clients. You’ll work closely with the Activities Director and other staff to ensure a vibrant and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and implementing daily, weekly, and monthly activity programs.
- Lead group and individual activities such as games, arts and crafts, music, exercise, and outings.
- Encourage participation and engagement from residents/clients.
- Help set up and clean up activity areas.
- Maintain accurate attendance and activity records.
- Support special events and holiday celebrations.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.

Requirements
Education/Experience/Licensure/Certification
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in recreation or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or in a recreational setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Creativity, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in helping others.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings, holidays, and weekends.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
