Job Summary – Driver Trainer

Your role will include:


· Conduct classroom and on-the-road training sessions for new and existing drivers at company locations

· Evaluate drivers’ skills and knowledge and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement.

· Manage fleet monitoring software and report on driver performance and DVIR compliance.

· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.

· Maintain training records and documentation of drivers’ certifications and licenses.

· Conduct audits of fleet vehicles during site visits

· Assist with accident investigations and assess post-incident training needs.

Job Requirements

· Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

· Dependable transportation

· Must be 21 years of age, with at least 3 years of on the job driving experience

· Excellent communicator, demonstrated training and leadership skills

· Willingness to travel to company sites, as needed for on the site driver skills training 

· Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
