Location: Skylift – Lorain, OH
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM (10-hour shifts)
Overtime: As needed on Fridays

Position Summary
We are hiring an Assembly Technician to join our team. This role involves assembling custom machinery and upfitting truck chassis with hydraulic and electrical components. Ideal candidates will have experience as a diesel mechanic or in heavy equipment assembly, with a strong foundation in mechanical and hydraulic knowledge.
Requirements
Responsibilities
- Assemble specialty equipment using hand and power tools
- Position and align components manually or with hoists/cranes
- Install piping, hydraulics, wiring, and electrical systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic systems
- Conduct equipment testing and inspections
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
- Perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods
- Safely lift up to 50 lbs
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in manufacturing or mechanical assembly
- Skilled with hand and power tools
- Basic understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics (preferred)
- Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred)
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic are essential
