Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for dental procedures by explaining treatments and ensuring their comfort.
  • Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, including handling instruments and materials.
  • Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
  • Take dental X-rays as needed.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and charting.
  • Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
  • Ensure the operatory and office are clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications:

  • Active Dental Assistant licensure in Indiana
  • X-ray Certification Required
  • CPR certification
  • Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and terminology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A caring and compassionate attitude toward patients.
