This position is to develop and author interactive electronic technical publications (IETP) for complex military aeronautics systems. It requires education and some experience in fields supporting development of military aeronautics technical publications such as flight manuals and maintenance manuals. The successful candidate will be able to:
• Effectively work with multiple engineering, software, supportability, flight test, and logistics disciplines.
• Participate in a small technical writing team, developing the design and production of IETP, and writing and revising flight manuals and flight checklists.

Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain a security clearance, as the position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications
• Aerospace Engineering (with minor in computer science)
• Mechanical Engineering (with minor in computer science)
• Electrical Engineering (with minor in computer science)
• Electronic Engineering (with minor in computer science)
Desired skills
Familiarity with markup languages
Knowledge of engineering drawing systems and bill of materials (BOMs)
Experience with graphic creation and design
Familiarity with aircraft systems.

Pay Rate:
In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $47,600 - $79,400 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.
