ROLE

As a Senior Technical Recruiter, you will play a critical role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top-tier technical talent to meet the strategic goals of our organization. Your expertise in technical recruitment, combined with your ability to understand complex technical requirements and build strong relationships with candidates, will be crucial in driving our recruitment efforts and ensuring a high-quality hiring process.

RESPONSIBILITIES & PERFORMANCE MEASURES

  • Talent Acquisition: Develop and execute recruitment strategies to identify and attract with top technical talent across various engineering and technology disciplines.
  • Recruitment Process Management: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offering candidates. Ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process while maintaining a high level of candidate experience.
  • Sourcing Strategies: Utilize a variety of sourcing techniques and tools, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and internal databases to find and engage with passive candidates.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with hiring managers and technical leaders to understand their hiring needs, job requirements, and team dynamics. Provide guidance on market trends and competitive salary information.
  • Candidate Evaluation: Assess candidates’ technical skills, cultural fit, and overall suitability for the organization through interviews, technical assessments, and reference checks.
  • Employer Branding: Promote the company’s employer brand through networking events, social media, and other channels. Act as a brand ambassador to attract top talent.
  • Recruitment Metrics: Track and analyze recruitment metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sourcing strategies, hiring processes, and overall recruitment performance. Provide regular reports to management.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, recruitment best practices, and emerging technologies. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in recruitment.  

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical recruitment, with a proven track record of successfully filling technical roles in fast-paced environments. A member of / or experienced working in environments registered under the Recruitment Employment Confederation
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of technical roles and skills across various technology stacks, including but not limited to engineering, optics manufacturing, data analysis, information technology roles, etc.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build relationships candidates and hiring managers at all levels.
  • Tools & Technologies: Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment software, and sourcing tools. Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, and other advanced sourcing methods.
  • Education: degree in Business Administration or a related field 
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
