Could you be the full-time RAMS Engineer in São Paulo we’re looking for?

 

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety (RAMS) in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and forward-thinking teammates.

You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of Alstom's products, helping us meet customer expectations while driving operational excellence. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (design, industrial, sourcing, validation, and more), lead RAMS activities, and support safety and reliability assessments for projects and tenders.

You’ll specifically take care of planning and piloting RAMS activities, assessing product capabilities, and ensuring compliance with customer requirements, but also support stakeholders in implementing safety and reliability measures.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Planning and managing RAMS activities and deliverables for assigned projects or programs
  • Assessing the capability and risks of Alstom products during tender and project phases
  • Conduct safety and reliability analyses in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and reliability requirements through documented evidence
  • Define and track reliability and safety actions through to closure.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and independent parties
  • Performing safety and reliability design reviews and supporting safety authorizations
  • Proactively identifying and addressing potential issues to meet QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) commitments
  • Lead safety investigations following internal procedures.Contributing to the continuous improvement of RAMS processes and methodologies

  • Degree in Electrical, Electro-mechanical, or related Engineering field
  • Experience of 2-3 years or understanding of railway safety analysis and demonstration methodsKnowledge of RAMS methods and tools.
  • Familiarity with railway products or rolling-stock engineering
  • A product-oriented mindset with a focus on safety and reliabilityStrong communication and interpersonal skills, including with third parties
  • Advanced/fluent English proficiency
