Job Purpose

 

 This position is responsible for efficient Performance Management of PAN India Data & cloud network ensuring best class network quality for VIL customers, covering technologies like 2G/4G, Enterprise etc.

Improve performance KPIs as per agreed benchmark for Data, Enterprise solutions & Roaming services offered by VIL to its customers.

Deploying creative/ innovative solutions to bring continuous improvements in network quality and customer experience.

 

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

 

  • Responsible for best class network quality by enabling proactive performance management systems, processes and delivering continuous improvements in customer experience.
  • Leading role in development, mobilization, & implementation of robust processes at national level with focus on delivering excellent network quality.
  • Initiating network quality improvement programs, implementing best practices across all circles for Data services.
  • Enabling performance tools & application that enables fast detection and investigation of performance issues.
  • Directing teams to maximize coverage on ICR, national & international roaming for VIL customers with roaming partners to enrich customer experience.
  • Co-work with cross functional teams like transmission, Planning and other cross functional teams in order to resolve performance issues and creating solutions to work under capacity limitations and budgetary constraints.
  • Ensuring full compliance towards regulatory/DoT directives related to customer experience.
  • Developing skillset and competency to enable team to deliver results with minimum directions and supervision. Scheduling workload to meet priories and targets thereby achieving high performance, results oriented attitude.

 

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience

Rich experience in Performance management & operations and leading team size above 15+. Good understanding on all technology domains along with modern management techniques. Having at least work experience of 14-16 years with education qualification in B.E. Electronics and Communications.

  • Devising & demonstrating effective performance management, organizing, decision making, good dealing in ambiguous situation, driving of quality projects with emphasis towards cost control.
  • Excellent in dealing with external and internal customers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with conflict management abilities.

 

Must have technical / professional qualifications

  1. Hands on knowledge of packet core network, including architecture, call flow
  2. Packet core network product knowledge for at least 2-3 suppliers, Nokia, E///, Mavenir, Cisco
  3. Good understanding on performance and customer complaint handling process
  4. Good communication skills and team building capability
