Your role
The primary focus of the Junior Finance & Strategy Analyst is to support the Finance & Strategy team in delivering structured and ad hoc analysis that supports business decision-making. The analyst will assist in interpreting data, preparing dashboards, and helping translate business needs into clear, actionable outputs.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to build a strong foundation in financial and strategic analysis. The role offers hands-on exposure to commercial, operational, and financial problem-solving, with opportunities to learn from experienced team members and collaborate across functions.
What you'll be doing
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in delivering analytical support across key business areas, including performance trends, and business planning activities.
Work with team members to understand business requirements and contribute to structured insights and analysis.
Support the creation and maintenance of dashboards and performance tracking tools using Power BI or Excel.
Conduct basic data analysis and prepare summaries to support projects such as business reviews or performance deep-dives.
Contribute to financial models and planning activities by gathering inputs, cleaning data, and supporting research.
Help prepare presentations and reporting materials for internal stakeholders.
Maintain clear documentation of analysis and support data quality across recurring and project-based deliverables.
EXPERIENCE AND KEY SKILLS
4-5 years of experience in Financial Analysis, Strategy, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Strong Excel skills – familiarity with functions like pivot tables, lookups, and basic formulas.
Exposure to Power BI or other BI tools is a plus.
Understanding of core financial and business metrics.
Ability to work with datasets and extract relevant insights.
Good communication skills – ability to summarise findings clearly.
Eagerness to learn and grow in a data-driven, commercial environment.
