Temporary Elementary Dean of Students at Wabash Valley Online Application Consortium

Essential Duties:

• Monitor and address student discipline issues in alignment with school policies and procedures
   

• Track, manage, and follow up on student attendance, including tardies and absences
   

• Communicate with parents/guardians regarding discipline and attendance concerns
   

• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support positive student behavior and classroom management
   

• Maintain accurate records of discipline referrals, attendance data, and interventions
   

• Support implementation of school-wide behavior and attendance initiatives
   

• Serve as a resource for students to promote responsibility, accountability, and positive decision-making
   

• Assist the principal with daily school operations and administrative tasks as assigned

Contract Days: Temporary position from approximately October 20, 2025 -January 16, 2026

Salary: Commensurate with experience

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: 

• Teaching Experience, Building Administration Experience Preferred

• BS/BA in Education, MS/MA Preferred

• Indiana Teaching License, Building Administrator License Preferred

• Able to work effectively and communicate with a wide range of students, staff and administration.

• Strong human relations skills, including professional tact, diplomacy and presentation.

• Multi-tasking ability and strong organizational skills.

• Willingness to attend job training

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
