Work with the Director and Advisor to design the set of the play/musical to accommodate the SHS stage and space.
Engineer all building projects.
Create building plans and drafting.
Create a building schedule.
Order all materials; wood, paint, hardware, etc.
Build or acquire all set pieces with students.
Scenic painting of all set pieces.
Design and produce all set detailing and dressing.
Supervise safety throughout building process and safe construction standards for all set pieces, ex 16” on center walls and sufficient ceiling joist for load.
Inventory and maintain all equipment.
Organize storage of all building materials and supplies.
Strike the set and clean backstage once the production closes.
