About the Role: 

Wing is looking for a Technical Recruiting Lead to guide our Talent Team through a pivotal phase of accelerated growth. This is a Hybrid Role based in Palo Alto, CA. As a Recruiting Manager, you will lead a team of Talent Partners (Recruiters) and own the talent acquisition strategy for Wing’s Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain functions. You will serve as a key strategic talent advisor to Wing’s C-Suite and management team, providing critical guidance as we scale.In this role, you will be responsible for hiring and developing a high-performing team capable of meeting ambitious hiring goals in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will translate the long-term vision of the business into a comprehensive talent strategy built for scale, using data and market intelligence to influence senior leaders and drive workforce planning. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading technical recruiting teams through hyper-growth, exceptional business acumen, and the ability to build and execute a talent roadmap that thrives in a complex, rapidly evolving organization.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technical Talent Partners (FTEs and contingent workers), setting clear goals, managing performance, and fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Develop and own the end-to-end talent acquisition strategy for Wing’s tech organizations, partnering with senior engineering leadership on workforce planning, talent mapping, and defining future hiring needs
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for senior engineering leaders, using data and market insights to influence critical talent decisions, organizational design, and hiring strategies
  • Oversee all hiring analytics and reporting, delivering key insights, progress reports, and forecasts to senior leadership to drive data-informed talent strategies
  • Drive cross-functional, strategic talent initiatives related to our employer brand, hiring process optimizations, and university programs
  • Act as a player-coach by owning a small number of leadership full-cycle requisitions to stay close to the candidate market

What You’ll Need:

  • 12+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a minimum of 3+ years of direct people management experience, leading and developing recruiting teams in a high-growth technical environment.
  • Experience managing a contingent workforce, while ensuring adherence to legal and compliance requirements
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing holistic talent strategies for a complex, technical roles that are first of its kind to the organization
  • Proven track record of successfully partnering with and influencing senior leadership (Director level and above) on complex talent topics, including compensation, leveling, and team structure
  • Deep understanding of the engineering and technology landscape, with the ability to provide expert guidance on talent market trends, competitive intelligence and complex offer negotiations
  • A data-driven mindset with experience using analytics to build compelling business cases, measure team performance, and optimize hiring processes
  • Exceptional business acumen and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into a clear and actionable talent roadmap
  • Strong initiative and a proactive approach to identifying and solving complex organizational challenges

The US base salary range for this full-time position is the salary range below + bonus + equity + benefits. Wing’s salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process.
