River Region Psychiatric Associates, www.rrpa.us, is the fastest growing private practice in the southeastern United States. We are currently looking for PMHNP providers for the Nashville market. This would be an weekend opportunity that could be either structured as PT or FT.
*All final candidates will be background and drug screened.
For our full time providers, we offer an excellent starting salary, a full health benefits package, 401k, CME time, malpractice provided, and an annual PMHNP student loan payment offered.
- Full Time Weekend (3 -12 Hour Days or 2 -16 Hour Days)
- Part Time Weekend PRN (Saturday and Sunday)
Requirements
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Must possess a minimum of a Master of Science in Nursing.
- Those six years are composed of a 4-year undergraduate nursing program followed by a 2-year nurse practitioner master's program that includes psychiatric nursing. (PMHNP)
- Must have or be pursuing a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
- Must have or be able to apply to get a DEA
Prior experience in providing mental health counseling services within a clinical setting
- Must possess a State License to practice Nursing and it must be in good standing.
- Must possess the knowledge base in health promotion maintenance, advanced pathophysiology, advanced health assessment and pharmacology for advanced practice nurses.
- Must possess the following concepts: individual and family psychotherapy, psychiatric-mental health nursing across the lifespan, advanced assessment in psychiatric-mental health nursing and psychopharmacology.
