Paint & Shipping Lead – 1st Shift Pay: Up to $28/hour (based on experience)Location: Cocoa Beach, FLShift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Voluntary OT on Saturdays)Type: Contract-to-HireOverview:A structural steel fabrication company is looking for a dependable and experienced Paint & Shipping Lead to join their 1st shift team. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee the paint and loading departments to ensure efficient workflow and maintain high standards for safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and train team members in paint and shipping operations

Manage daily workflow to meet deadlines and maintain product quality

Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry specifications

Perform QA/QC checks and maintain accurate documentation

Coordinate shipping and loading schedules with internal teams

Support corrective actions and team performance initiatives

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in structural steel painting and/or loading

1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred)

Strong knowledge of painting standards and QA/QC practices

Familiarity with production tracking software (EPMgo is a plus)

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Safety-minded with a strong team-oriented attitude
