Key Accounts Manager: FULL-TIME / EXEMPT

Position Summary: 


The Key Accounts Manager is responsible for leading & overseeing all activities for key accounts within the beer, THC, and hop water categories; ensuring competitive, strategic, and profitable pricing structures. This role serves as the central point of coordination for pricing strategies, negotiations, and execution, working cross-functionally with internal departments, distributors, and retail partners. The person in this position may work among a team or act individually to drive success with Chain partners for NoDa Brewing Co. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement strategies tailored to key accounts aligning with company objectives, distributor requirements, and market conditions. 

  • In collaboration with the Sales Director develop and present the annual business plan for Key Chain Accounts.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key account pricing inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses. 

  • Analyze pricing trends, customer data, and market dynamics specific to alcohol beverage sales to recommend pricing adjustments and competitive positioning. 

  • Coordinate with sales representatives to ensure accurate execution of retail planograms, programs, and pricing at key accounts.

  • Collaborate with sales, finance, and operations teams to coordinate pricing structures, contract terms, and margin analysis for alcohol distribution. 

  • Work closely with key accounts, including retailers and distributors, to understand their pricing expectations, address concerns, and strengthen business relationships. 

  • Lead negotiations with key accounts regarding pricing, promotions, rebates, and incentive programs within the alcohol industry. 

  • Assist in developing long-term pricing models to improve revenue growth, distributor relationships, and customer retention. 

Qualifications & Experience: 

  • Proven experience in key account management, pricing strategy, or a related field with at least 3 years experience in the alcohol beverage industry. 

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manipulate financial and market data specific to alcohol sales. 

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship building experience and skills, particularly with distributors and retail partners. 

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence decision-making without direct authority.

  • Flexibility in schedule and ability to travel across NC, SC, VA, & GA to meet partners and work with sales teams on a regular basis.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, talk, and hear.  The employee is required to be on his/her feet for a portion of the day/shift when working in the field with sales reps.  The employee is required to stoop, kneel, or crouch; reach with hands and arms; use hands to finger, handle, or feel tools or controls; must be able to lift and/or move heavy objects including cases of beer; must be able to move 30 pounds of mass off the ground.

  • Must be able to sustain constant mental and visual attention.
