About the role:
The Fixed Plant Maintenance team is currently seeking a Technician Lubrication to join them on a 14 days shift only with 14 days off roster based at Roy Hill Mine Processing Plant. Reporting to the Supervisor Fixed Plant Maintenance, you will be responsible for completing daily preventative and corrective lubrication tasks and updating the CMMS.
Duties:
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment and safe handling of materials
- Conduct routine preventative lubrication inspections and document equipment conditions for timely corrective actions. These inspections include
- Process oil samples for analysis and maintain automated lubrication systems for predictive maintenance
- Greasing of rotating equipment components, filter replacements, Perma Lube inspections
- Executing oil tops and or change outs on hydraulic and mineral oil lubrication units
- Applying acoustic greasing techniques
- Other lubrication inspections as deemed necessary
- Follow a structured maintenance schedule to minimize equipment downtime and improve equipment reliability and maintain detailed records of activities and inventories into the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Manage hydrocarbon storage and waste and collaborate with external departments for operational efficiency
Skills and Experience:
- Unrestricted C Class Drivers licence
- HR License, Forklift, Dogging, Rigging HRWL Desirable
- Proficiency in interpreting technical manuals, drawings, and hydraulic schematics desirable
- Experience in wet processing facilities, including familiarity with conveyor systems, crushers, screens, pumps, Scrubbing & Screening, Fixed Rail Balance Machines and train load outs
- Competent in using computerised programs like SAP and Microsoft Suite 9Word. Excel, Teams)
- ISO Lubrication Analysis Category 1 Desirable
