We are now hiring for an Event Operations Lead – Sydney to join our team to deliver the United Cup Sydney. This is a full-time fixed-term contract until June 2026.

About the role

As Event Operations Lead – Sydney, you will support the planning and operational delivery of the United Cup Sydney. In this role you will:

  • Oversee operational requirements, including temporary infrastructure, site overlay, and event services
  • Manage suppliers and logistics to ensure smooth on-site delivery
  • Prepare and distribute key operational documents including bump-in/out schedules, safety info, and supplier communications
  • Use project management tools to track progress and support post-event reporting
  • Manage budgets, purchase orders, and financial reconciliation

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in event management or a similar, with the ability to deliver under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with diverse stakeholders and suppliers
  • Experience managing event logistics, including safe and efficient bump-in/out
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
  • Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis NSW
