About the opportunity:
Reporting to the NEX Building Group’s MD, you will be the driving force behind Brighton Home’s delivery of exceptional customer experiences, sales and operational excellence and making a measurable impact on business performance.  The key focus of this role is to lead all functions including sales, customer experience, service delivery, operations, construction and subcontractor partnership management. More specifically, you will:

•Work with functional and frontline leaders to attract and retain quality talent and drive initiatives to build high performing teams
•Inspire teams, drive strategic initiatives, and work collaboratively with your senior leadership team to shape Brighton Homes’ future
•Monitor company performance by measuring and analysing results, initiating corrective actions and minimising the impact of variances
•Make key financial decisions, including budget allocation, cost management and revenue generation
•Work with functional leads and group shared services teams to develop and successfully implement key initiatives and projects
•Provide leadership during change initiatives and play a key role in transformation projects
•Identify, secure, and manage key strategic partnerships, ensuring alignment with business needs and long-term value creation
•Represent Brighton Homes at company and industry events and proactively maintain our position as the leading residential builder in Queensland


About you
This role demands a visionary leader who can partner closely with the Managing Director and group executive leadership team to shape and execute a long-term company plan that drives innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable expansion. In addition, you will demonstrate:

•Solid experience developing and executing business growth plans 
•The ability to lead and inspire a diverse team across sales, operations, construction, customer service
•Experience includes advising, coaching, and mentoring employees at all levels on a full range of performance competencies
•10+ years’ experience from the private sector, with an ability to actively manage risk and seek opportunities for business results
•A commitment to leading with clarity, confidence and integrity 
•Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and partnership building
•Financial and business management expertise
•Tertiary qualifications in business, construction management or similar
