Maintaining operational efficiency and delivering high-quality service within the Deposits & Unsecured Lending Operations department.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the Consumer Banking Operations team, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery to internal and external customers
• Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize workflow, enhance productivity, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
• Analyze and interpret data to identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address operational challenges, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage and develop a team of professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure high levels of engagement and productivity
• Experience in banking operations knowledge and control standards is an added advantage

Requirements

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in a senior operations role within the banking or financial services industry
• Strong analytical skills, self-driven and proactive, and able to work under stress
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team, with a track record of driving operational excellence and continuous improvement
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically and implement practical solutions
• Demonstrate good communication and presentation skills
• People Manager experience and exhibits good People Management skills
