MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Simulation Developer to join our team in Quantico, VAResponsibilities include but are not limited to:Designs, develops, and sustains simulation models and environments using a variety of programming languages, tools, and data sourcesIntegrates simulations into larger system architectures and supports Naval Capabilities Integration Process (NCIP) efforts for interoperability testingCollaborates with engineers, analysts, and operational subject matter experts to enhance model fidelity and ensure simulation accuracyImplements new features, conducts model testing and validation, and troubleshoots issues across evolving simulation platformsLeads and supports planning, coordination, and documentation activities for simulation projects, including data collection, stakeholder alignment, and capability trackingMinimum Qualifications:Associate’s degree in a technical field, OR at least 5 years of experience in related military/operational environments of which 2 years in Modeling & Simulation (M&S) or software integration.Minimum of 2 years of applied experience developing, integrating, or validating military simulation environments and modelExperience with DoD-standard simulation platforms such as NGTS (Next Generation Threat System), MACE (Modern Air Combat Environment), or OneSAF (One Semi-Automated Forces) for Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) training and experimentation.Demonstrated ability to conduct Verification and Validation (V&V) of simulation models to ensure technical accuracy and operational realism.Preferred Qualifications:Experience integrating simulations across multiple environments (e.g., NGTS with MACE, OneSAF, or live/constructive systems) using DIS/HLA protocols and XML-based configuration files.Applied knowledge of military modeling & simulation principles supporting wargaming, concept development, and experimentation events.Proven ability to align simulation scenarios with operational requirements and provide trusted data for senior leadership decision-making.Clearance Requirements:Must possess a current/active DoD Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for SCI and SAP accessPhysical Requirements:Must be able and willing to perform occasional manual labor and warehouse duties, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
