About the Role
The Technical Project Manager will oversee the implementation of software projects for BSD, ensuring smooth execution from initiation to delivery. This position requires strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders.
The successful candidate will leverage a solid technical background across databases, cloud technologies, system architecture, infrastructure, networking, and Active Directory (AD) to manage risks, dependencies, and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Requirements
- Lead and manage end-to-end software project implementations, ensuring quality delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
- Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, fostering clear communication and collaboration.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks while maintaining project timelines, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, documentation, and status reports for leadership.
- Apply technical expertise in databases, cloud platforms, networking, system architecture, and AD to guide project execution and troubleshooting.
- Drive adoption of best practices, tools, and frameworks to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Facilitate project governance, change management, and stakeholder alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager leading enterprise software projects.
- Strong technical expertise in databases, cloud technologies, infrastructure, networking, and Active Directory.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills to engage across technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to assess risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum or hybrid project methodologies.
- Previous experience in large-scale IT implementations or enterprise transformation projects.
- Familiarity with IT governance, compliance, and security standards.
