About the role

Successful execution of engineering tasks requiring the application and interpretation of standard and advanced principles, techniques and procedures in a professional, productive and creative manner.  Should demonstrate the  ability to successfully complete tasks on schedule and within budget.  Should demostrate working knowledge of engineering techniques, processes and products. Performs work which requires knowledge and experience in a field of engineering which may include a variety of complex technical problems, innovation, and coordination requirements to complete assignments. 

Compensation: $70,000-$89,000

What you will be doing

  • Perform primary engineering role in moderately basic technical assignments. 
  • Assists with reviews and approvals of engineering product or process design changes (ECP’s and PRN’s)
  • Demostrated knowledge of manufacturing processes, techniques, materials, finishes, documentation systems, CAD system, and business system. 
  • Ability to speak to and provide engineering assitance to customers both inside and outside of Southco.
  • Successfully complete projects with some supervision.
  • Complete training to facilitate accurate and efficient accomplishment of job duties.

About you

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a Team Environment
  • 0-1 years of relevant technical experience (co op experience is acceptable)
  • Computer compentency/expertise as related to CAD, Business Sytstems,etc.
