Overview

 

Contributes to the overall success of the Facilities Department in support of the Dallas office for the Bank of Nova Scotia.

Ensures individual goals, plans, initiatives are agreed with the Senior Facilities Manager and executed in support of the Facilities team’s strategy and objectives.

Ensures all activities conducted are following governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.

Champions a high-performance environment and contributes to an inclusive environment.



What You’ll Do

 

  • Ensure that adequate levels of supplies are maintained, including ordering and unpacking and verifying receipt of supplies. 
  • Ensure that the stationery room and storage areas are kept neat and in an orderly fashion. 
  • Ensure that work areas and pantries are sufficiently stocked, in working order and kept tidy and clean.
  • Coordinates all aspects of Records Management with the offsite archives, including record maintenance and storage retrieval of archives.
  • Provide support services such as vendor chaperoning for premises related matters.
  • Coordinate shredding services to collect documents from various departments to ensure proper destruction.
  • Assist departments with seat moves as well as the arrangement and removal of furniture and equipment and set up of any new equipment.
  • Assist with work area repairs such as broken drawers, replacement of ceiling tiles, door handle adjustments.
  • Support the maintenance of the Bank’s telephone system, including installing and relocating phones and fax lines where required. Provide immediate onsite support for problem resolutions on IP phones, fax lines and headsets.


What You’ll Bring 

 

  • Experience in managing facilities or complex offices preferred
  • Knowledge of purchase order processing and approval protocols necessary
  • Banking or broker dealer experience is a positive
