In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing patient outcomes by designing and customizing radiation therapy plans tailored to individual patient needs. Collaborating with a team of skilled radiation oncologists and medical physicists, you will leverage cutting-edge technology and treatment planning software to ensure precise dose delivery.
As a CMD at GLI, your focus will be on patient safety and high-quality care. You will perform detailed calculations to determine the appropriate dose distributions and conduct comprehensive quality assurance on all treatment plans. This position is critical in our mission to provide exceptional oncology services.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Calculate and develop individualized radiation treatment plans in cooperation with the oncology team.
- Utilize advanced dosimetry and treatment planning software to ensure accuracy in dose delivery.
- Conduct quality assurance checks to confirm the correctness of treatment plans prior to delivery.
- Maintain precise and thorough documentation for all treatment activities.
- Participate in routine clinical meetings to discuss treatment plans and patient progress.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 plus years of experience or more is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Dosimetry or a related field is preferred.
- Valid certification as a Medical Dosimetrist (CMD).
- Current state licensure to practice as a Medical Dosimetrist.
- Strong understanding of radiation physics, tumor anatomy, and treatment modalities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic healthcare environment.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
