Overview:

Do you enjoy helping people and being the friendly face that makes someone’s day better? MANA Family Medicine in Prairie Grove is looking for a Receptionist who thrives in a welcoming, team-oriented environment and wants to make a difference in the lives of patients and families.

 

As the first point of contact, you’ll play an important role in creating a positive experience for every patient who walks through our doors. If you’re organized, compassionate, and love working with people — we’d love to meet you!

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Greet patients 

  • Check patients in/out and collect payments at time of service
  • Answer phones and schedule appointments

  • Keep physician schedules accurate and organized

  • Support smooth daily clinic operations with your attention to detail

  • End of day payment reconcilliation 
  • Various other tasks as assigned by the clinic manager

What We’re Looking For:

  • A team player with excellent communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask

  • Previous customer service or healthcare office experience is a plus (but not required — we’re happy to train the right person!)

How to Apply

To apply for a position at any MANA Clinic, you must complete a MANA employment application. Applicants may list the position(s) they are interested in applying on the application and only need to complete one application.

Applications are reviewed by the Human Resources Department at the MANA Administrative Office and are shared with the clinic managers. Applications are kept in our database for managers to review for six (6) months.  MANA is an equal opportunity employer.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage all phases of the patient encounter; verify and/or update patient contact information and deliver charts to designated location prior to patient visit
  • Answer incoming telephone calls and follow-up with no-show appointments as needed
  • Receive, record, and relay incoming messages to appropriate personnel timely
  • Collect copays and balances, maintain log sheets, and balance at the end of the day
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

  • Highschool Diploma/GED
