Responsible for auditing trauma cases, updating policies, and leading performance improvement and staff development. Builds partnerships to ensure high-quality, efficient patient care and fosters a professional practice environment. Serves in clinical, educational, administrative, and quality improvement roles to support comprehensive trauma care.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%3Cstrong%3EHow you’ll contribute%26nbsp;%3C/strong%3E%3Cbr%3E•%26nbsp;%26nbsp;%26nbsp;%26nbsp;Continuously monitors and improves departmental performance, audits trauma cases for PIPS concerns, and escalates cases to appropriate leadership and committees as needed.%3Cbr%3E•%26nbsp;%26nbsp;%26nbsp;%26nbsp;Manages the Oregon Trauma Registry, using data to develop and implement evidence-based process improvement programs and monitor outcomes.%3Cbr%3E•%26nbsp;%26nbsp;%26nbsp;%26nbsp;Actively participates in Quality Council, state and area trauma meetings (meeting 50% attendance requirement), and EMS chart reviews when possible.%3Cbr%3E•%26nbsp;%26nbsp;%26nbsp;%26nbsp;Oversees the administration and evaluation of the trauma care system and coordinates injury prevention programs based on trauma registry and epidemiologic data.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%3Cstrong%3EConnect with our RN recruiting specialist%26nbsp;%3C/strong%3E%3Cbr%3ENot ready to complete an application, or have questions? Additional requirements include:%3Cbr%3E•%26nbsp;%26nbsp;%26nbsp;%26nbsp;BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire.%3Cbr%3E•%26nbsp;%26nbsp;%26nbsp;%26nbsp;ACLS, TNCC or ATCH, and PALS OR ENPC required.%3Cbr%3E•%26nbsp;%26nbsp;%26nbsp;%26nbsp;Minimum of four (4) years acute care experience. Emergency Department experience preferred.%3C/p%3E
