Love dogs? Tailored Pet Services (a trusted Everett pet care business since 2011) is inviting caring households to join our Dog Host Family Network.

As part of our Dog Host Family Network, you’ll welcome dogs into your home while their families travel—providing love, comfort, and companionship. We handle the marketing, screening, and payments, so you can simply enjoy caring for dogs and earn steady income.

Why Choose Us Over Pet-Sitting Apps?

  • Higher Pay, Fewer Sitters: We only accept a handful of Dog Host Families, meaning less competition and more bookings for you.
  • Steady Bookings: With 140+ dog walks per week plus daycare, grooming, and training, we always have families needing boarding.
  • No Hustle, No Bidding: Unlike apps, you won’t compete for bookings—we send them directly to you.
  • Trusted & Referred: With 14 years in business, we receive referrals from vets, trainers, and local pet businesses.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide loving care—playtime, cuddles, companionship.
  • Daily walks and exercise (or safe yard time).
  • Create a safe, cozy stay for each pup.

Sounds Too Good to Be True? Here’s the Paw Print 🐾

Yes, you really can earn extra income boarding dogs in your home. But to keep pups safe (and our reputation spotless), there are a few caveats:

  1. Fenced Yard: Preferred. If you don’t have one, you must commit to multiple real walks (20–30 minutes, rain or shine). Quick potty breaks don’t count.
  2. Walk Tracking: Our app records when walks start/stop and requires photo check-ins. If you say you walked the dog, you’ll need to prove it.
  3. Landlord Permission: Homeowners, you’re good! Renters must show written approval to board dogs. Having your own dog ≠ permission to board others.
  4. Kid Factor: Homes with children under 10 are not eligible to board dogs. Even well-behaved kids can unintentionally startle or mishandle a pet, creating risk.
  5. Other Pets: Already have pets? That’s fine, but strict safety rules apply:
  • Dogs: Must pass a meet-and-greet. Client dogs may never be left alone with your dogs without physical barriers (gates, closed doors, or separate rooms). Meals, treats, and toys must be separated.
  • Cats: Must have dog-free, secure spaces. Client dogs cannot have unsupervised access—even if your cat is “dog-friendly.”
  • Small Pets (birds, rabbits, hamsters, reptiles, etc.): Must be in secure enclosures, out of reach. If a client’s dog fixates or stresses them, we may deem your home ineligible.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Dog lovers 18+ with a safe, dog-friendly home.
  • Homeowners or renters with landlord approval to board dogs.
  • Responsible & dependable (experience with dogs a plus).
  • Residents of Everett, Edmonds, Lynnwood, Mill Creek, Mukilteo, Lake Stevens, or Snohomish.

🐶 The holidays are our busiest season—apply now and start boarding by October! 🎉
