About the Role:

The Hospital Administrator at Lutcher Inpatient Behavioral Health Hospital plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations and strategic management of the facility to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. Minimum Qualifications:

  • LA State current RN license with no restrictions
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in hospital or healthcare facility management.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • Proven experience in budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skill

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Behavioral Health or Business Administration.
  • Experience working in an inpatient hospital setting.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare IT solutions.
  • Certification such as Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
  • Demonstrated success in leading quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise all hospital departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that comply with healthcare laws and regulations.
  • Oversee budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation to optimize hospital performance.
  • Coordinate with medical staff, nursing teams, and support personnel to enhance patient care quality.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and monitor patient satisfaction metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and prepare for inspections and audits.
  • Facilitate communication between hospital leadership, staff, patients, and external partners.
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate administrative and clinical staff to maintain a skilled workforce.
  • Analyze operational data to identify trends and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Represent the hospital in community outreach and partnership development activities.
