Salary Range: £42,922 - £46,339 or £48,151 - £51,507 pro rata, per annum
Working Arrangements: Part Time
These are new roles which are central to the successful implementation of Governance for all Stated maintained schools and settings in Guernsey and Alderney. There are three roles available on a 0.5 FTE (18 hours per week), term-time only basis.
The Clerk to the Governance Boards is responsible for providing clerking support to the Governance Boards, which includes fulsome contemporaneous notetaking during meetings and the drafting of high quality and detailed minutes which may be used as evidence of good governance including during external inspections. Clerking support also extends to providing advice and guidance to Governance Board Chairs, liaison with Board members, the compilation of meeting packs and the scheduling of meetings, oversight and checking of all paperwork relevant to the allocated Governance Board/s, including papers drafted by other colleagues.
