Job Summary
Schedule: Mon-Thu 7:30 am - 4:00 pm and Fri: 7:30 am - 1:00 pm
DEFINITION:
Under the general supervision of the site administrator, supervise, monitor, and control the school campus and parking areas; and to do other related work as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
· Perform campus and parking lot control and monitor functions and activities;
· Monitor and direct student activities in hallways, restrooms, and areas adjacent to the school buildings;
· Control, monitor, and direct unauthorized persons on the campus and in parking lot areas;
· Assist and direct campus visitors to authorized parking areas and appropriate offices;
· Inspect, review, and monitor campus and parking areas to ensure against inappropriate behaviors, and campus litter and to ameliorate potential safety hazards;
· Assist in the maintenance of appropriate student behaviors;
· Enforce the school regulations pertaining to student activities;
· Counsel and advise students and others regarding violation of rules and regulations;
· Perform a variety of behavior management and behavior shaping functions using positive behavior interventions and supports;
· May contact appropriate law enforcement agencies in consultation with the site administrator to maintain the security and control of campus and parking areas;
· May prepare vandalism, property damage and theft reports;
· Assist ill students or students experiencing difficulty by escorting them to the health office or appropriate administrative offices.
OTHER REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES:
· Prepare required reports as necessary;
· Participate in staff development activities and professional learning communities as appropriate;
· Perform other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of:
· Basic school safety rules;
· Behavior modification strategies and techniques
· Basic school safety rules, and safe campus supervision methods and procedures;

Hourly rate depends on the relative years of experience. Position includes health benefits and CalPERS retirement
