Middle School Physical Education Teacher at Community Roots Academy

Under the supervision of the Middle School Director, the Physical Education Teacher provides comprehensive instruction to students in grades 6-8. This role is vital in promoting lifelong wellness, building physical skills, understanding fitness principles, and instilling values such as perseverance, teamwork, and respect through physical activity; Perform other related functions as required. EDUCATION Possession of a Baccalaureate or higher degree with an emphasis in kinesiology or equivalent subject matter commonly taught in the elementary or secondary grades or closely related field areas. EXPERIENCE Successful completion of student teaching at a recognized college or university or two years of regular full-time elementary or secondary teaching experience.
