OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES: The Office Manager for the Welcome Center plays a key leadership role in supporting the district-wide registration of all new students. This individual will oversee daily operations at the off-site Welcome Center and ensure accurate, timely, and efficient enrollment processes. The Office Manager will supervise a team of enrollment specialists and serve as the primary liaison between the welcome center and individual schools across the district.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise and support a team of enrollment specialists who are responsible for processing student registrations.
Ensure accurate and complete data entry into the district’s student information system.
Develop and implement procedures and processes to be used in the Welcome Center.
Maintain quality control of all registration documentation and processes.
Maintain/track grant funds for ELL department.
Coordinate and secure the timely transfer of registration records to the appropriate schools.
Oversee daily operations of the Central Registration Center, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment for families.
Provide guidance and training to enrollment specialists as needed.
Address and resolve registration-related concerns, issues, and escalations.
Collaborate with district departments to support enrollment policies and procedures.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of registration requirements and best practices.
Perform additional administrative tasks as assigned by the Director of ELL or their designee as needed to support center operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate’s degree in business, education, or a related field.
Minimum of three (3) years of secretarial or administrative experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of student registration and enrollment practices.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
