About the Role: 

The Treasurer is responsible for developing and executing the company’s global treasury strategy, ensuring adequate liquidity, managing financial risk, optimizing the capital structure, and maintaining strong relationships with depository, banking and capital markets partners. This executive will be a key advisor to the CFO and senior leadership on treasury-related matters and will play a critical role in supporting the company’s long-term growth and financial resilience.

 

Responsibilities

Cash & Liquidity Management

  • Direct all global cash management operations, including short- and long-term liquidity planning.

  • Develop and manage relationships with depository and banking partners to (i) maximize interest income across deposit base and (ii) ensure compliance with bank partners policies for customer and deposit types.

  • Oversee cash forecasting and ensure efficient deployment of capital across entities and jurisdictions.

  • Establish policies and controls to safeguard corporate funds.

Capital Structure & Financing

  • Develop strategies for capital structure optimization and ensure cost-effective financing.

  • Manage debt issuance, credit facilities, and other financing instruments in alignment with business objectives.

  • Support the CFO in capital allocation decisions and balance sheet management.

Risk Management

  • Identify, measure, and mitigate treasury-related risks, including interest rate, foreign exchange and credit exposures.

  • Oversee the execution of hedging strategies and compliance with financial risk policies.

  • Monitor and manage counter-party risks including monthly reports on health of banking partners.

Banking & Capital Markets

  • Maintain and expand existing strategic relationships with banking partners to meet organizational GTM strategy.

  • Identify and build relationships with new banking partners to meet evolving GTM vertical and geographic strategies.

  • Negotiate banking arrangements, credit facilities, and capital markets transactions.

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements in treasury-related matters.

Treasury Operations & Technology

  • Oversee the implementation and continuous improvement of treasury management relationships and systems in coordination with payment operations. 

  • Possess and/or develop a strong understanding of requirements related to money transmission licenses and agency relationships with banking partners.

  • Enhance operational efficiency through automation and best-in-class treasury practices.

  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, audit requirements, and SOX compliance.

Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead and develop a high-performing treasury team.

  • Provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on liquidity, treasury operations, capital structure, and risk management.

  • Contribute to corporate financial planning and enterprise-wide initiatives.

 

What Success Looks Like:

Success in a SVP Finance, Treasurer role is defined by strategic financial leadership, risk management, and capital stewardship that drive long-term value for the company. This role has significant influence on the company’s financial structure, liquidity, and investment strategy. It's a high-stakes position where both technical financial acumen and executive leadership are critical.  

  • Optimizes capital structure to support growth while minimizing cost of capital.

  • Develops and executes strategies for capital allocation and financing. 

  • Aligns treasury decisions with corporate strategy and shareholder value creation.

  • Ensures daily and long-term liquidity needs are met across the enterprise.

  • Develops and maintains accurate cash forecasting models across entities and currencies.

  • Optimizes working capital and ensures surplus cash is productively deployed.  



Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline; MBA, CFA, or CTP strongly preferred.

  • 10+ years of progressive treasury, finance, or corporate banking experience, with significant leadership exposure in a regulated and enterprise-scale organization.

  • Deep expertise in cash management, capital markets, and risk management.

  • Strong knowledge of global treasury operations, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.

  • Experience working in or with financial technology, payments, or regulated financial services is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits:


Compensation range: $225,000 - $275,000 + AIP Eligible
