About the Agency
Our client, eu-LISA, is the European Union Agency responsible for operating large-scale IT systems that help keep Europe safe and support cooperation in areas like security, migration, and justice. Civitta, in cooperation with Talenta, provides temporary agency workers to eu-LISA.
We are looking for
A Security Systems Specialist to support the Security Unit – Protective Security Sector. The position is based in Strasbourg, France.
In this role, you will work within the Security Technical Support Team, ensuring the performance, integrity, and regulatory compliance of physical security systems and infrastructure across Agency premises. Your technical expertise will contribute to the secure and continuous operation of critical systems including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection.
What will you do:
Oversee the daily operation and reliability of access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems.
Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance of physical security systems.
Supervise external contractors responsible for maintaining and supporting security infrastructure.
Monitor service performance and ensure compliance with technical specifications and SLAs.
Contribute to system lifecycle management, including upgrades, replacements, and decommissioning.
Support technical aspects of security-related projects and continuous improvements.
Maintain technical records, service logs, and documentation of systems.
Assist in incident response efforts, providing technical support and rapid intervention when needed.
Ensure all work complies with Agency security standards and EU regulatory requirements.
Share knowledge and documentation with internal teams to foster operational resilience.
What is required of your profile:
University degree (minimum 3 years, or equivalent EU-recognised diploma).
Proven experience in:
Installation, operation, and maintenance of physical security systems.
Managing technical service contracts and supervising external maintenance providers.
System diagnostics, fault resolution, and preventive maintenance.
Knowledge of:
CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and perimeter protection systems.
IT network integration with physical security systems (e.g. IP-based CCTV).
Compliance frameworks applicable to secure environments.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent technical tasks.
Excellent communication skills to interface with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to technical accuracy.
Required language skills: English (minimum B2 level) and French (minimum B2 level)
What eu-LISA offers
A full-time temporary job from 01/10/2025 - 01/10/2026.
Monthly gross salary 4,933 EUR.
