Job Summary:
To perform all job duties assigned by the Facilities Manager, pertaining to facilities maintenance at Bethel Woods or other sites as directed. Provide lead role in all electrical projects and repairs throughout the facility, while still being able to perform routine day to day maintenance tasks as needed. This description is not intended to be all inclusive, and the employee may also perform other reasonably related business duties as assigned by the supervisor and other management as required. - Repair/diagnoses ahu/rtu supply/return fan motors
- Install new electrical runs
- Modify existing electrical runs
- Coordinate generator service and repairs
- Schedule lighting throughout site as needed
- Panel upgrades and maintenance
- General electrical troubleshooting

- Take electric meter/propane level readings
- Monitor equipment being used by food services
- Remain on-call to address immediate issues/problems
- After the show/event turn off equipment, turn off lights, remove items on grass and pick up garbage off the lawn
- General Duties
- General Facility monitory, maintenance and upkeep
- General plumbing, carpentry, electrical and HVAC repair/maintenance
- Equipment repair/maintenance
- Logistical assistance as needed to support events
- Event maintenance coverage as needed
- Administrative Duties
- Document and account for all work performed daily by entering it in our CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Attend meetings and provide input regarding current/future plans/projects
- Coordinate sensate requests with appropriate departments
- Perform research and compile/organize data and information
- Research and purchase parts and equipment as needed for specific projects and repairs
Job Requirements:
- Must possess a two year technical degree in Electrical or at least 5 years’ experience working as an electrical technician
- Having a Sullivan County Electrical License is not a requirement but a plus
- Must have a good working knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code) as well as all state and local electrical codes
- Must be able to read blueprints an electrical schematics fluently
- Must be able to install and connect wires to circuit breakers, outlets and transformers
- Knowledge and use of power tools such as saws and drills along with hand tools such as conduit benders, wire strippers and screwdrivers and hacksaws is required
- Must know how to use devices such as ohmmeters and voltmeters to test connections and make sure electrical system components are safe and compatible
- Must be able to repair equipment when it breaks down and regularly test equipment to ensure proper operation as well
- Must be willing to work weekends and be on call as needed to cover special events or respond to facility outages
