The Role
Our HR team is growing! We’re looking for a HR & Office Specialist to join our team in London.
This role will be a central figure in ensuring the smooth functioning of our office operations and be responsible for our team's overall workplace experience. This role involves a diverse range of responsibilities, from managing office space/design and overseeing office expenditures to supporting HR initiatives to drive employee engagement and assisting diary management.
The ideal candidate is organised, personable, and adept at multitasking and time management. logistics and problem solving skills whilst advocating for a positive and inclusive office culture. You need to be ahead of the curve, spotting the small details before they develop into a problem and proactively combating them without needing to be told.
Key Responsibilities:
Office Management
Managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts for services such as cleaning, catering, and office supplies.
Lead or contribute to office space improvements, including search for new office and managing all aspects of the move.
Be willing to pitch in wherever needed to keep the office running smoothly and efficiently.
People and Culture Support:
Responsible for the onboarding process for new joiners and act as their first point of contact.
Record Keeping: Support HR by maintaining accurate records, handling administrative tasks, and assisting in payroll processing and benefits administration.
Planning social events for the office, anything from impromptu team drinks, regular team socials to off-sites, summer and winter parties.
Operations Support
Developing and implementing office procedures to promote a safe, healthy, and productive work environment.
Assisting our CEO and other members of the management team with lunches, travel and other admin requests.
About You:
Impeccable organisational skills and enjoy accomplishing tasks big or small.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly high in EQ and empathy, with the ability to interact with people at all levels.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Enthusiastic and positive attitude, with a passion for creating a vibrant and inclusive workplace culture.
Strong attention to detail and cares about things being done to a standard you can be proud of.
