About the role 
 

We’re seeking an Application Support Analyst to play a pivotal role in providing level 2/3 application support to our business stakeholders and customers, supporting critical enterprise applications such as Maximo, Enablon, Wellnomics, qTest and associated integrations with other applications.

Day-to-day, you will: 
 

  • Resolve IT application-related incidents and problems in line with SLA guidelines and procedures
  • Restore Application Service promptly and effectively, whilst maintaining close communications with stakeholders advising status/workarounds to minimise adverse effect on business operations
  • Monitor the availability, performance and throughput of supported IT applications and integrations
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve service monitoring
  • Contribute to the continued development of IT Operations processes, procedures, standards, and application documentation
  • Proactively identify and implement efficiency gains and application availability improvements
  • Perform 24x7 on-call duties on a rostered basis in line with on-call guidelines, procedures, and policies.
  • Contribute to lifecycle management initiatives such as application upgrades/decommissioning, security patching, certificate renewals/key rotation etc.
  • Contribute to asset management initiatives to uplift business functionality of Maximo application  

  

This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including: 
 

  • Self-starter, with excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and can conceptualise complex IT systems
  • Experience with Maximo asset management product
  • Broad knowledge of application systems, operating systems and cloud service
  • Success in a comparable position supporting applications that are enterprise level
  • ITIL Certification
  • Experience with ServiceNow / Jira
  • Ability to define processes and document procedures
  • An accomplished and effective communicator at all levels and across all mediums.
  • Approachable, with excellent interpersonal and people management skills.
  • Experience in logging, tracking and escalating incidents
  • Computer Science or related tertiary degree
